BAHRAIN. BANGLADESHI EXECUTED FOR MURDER

a Bangladeshi murderer was executed by firing squad in Bahrain early in the morning, the Public Prosecution announced in a statement. Mizan Noor Al Rahman Ayoub Mia was convicted of the brutal slaying of Bahraini fashion designer Sana Al Jalahma in August 2006. He was shot at 5am in the presence of the judge who sentenced him to death, Chief Public Prosecutor Ahmed Bucheeri and a prison doctor in the Safra area.
