Baldwin County Circuit Court Judge Robert E. Wilters upheld the jury's unanimous recommendation for the death penalty, and sentenced Timothy Wade Saunders to death.

Baldwin County Circuit Court Judge Robert E. Wilters upheld the jury's unanimous recommendation for the death penalty, and sentenced Timothy Wade Saunders to death.
At trial last month, Saunders, 26, admitted killing Melvin "Curly" Clemons, 77, in July 2004.
Saunders was found guilty of 2 counts of capital murder and 1 count of attempted murder. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the attack on Agnes Clemons.
