BANGLADESH: 19 PRISONERS ON DEATH ROW IN KHULNA

the Khulna district jail in Bangladesh has 19 prisoners on death row for murder in five condemned cells. This includes two operatives of outlawed Islamist outfit JMB, Khulna jail superintendent Shah Alam Khan said. All have appealed to the High Court for commuting their death sentences.
