A Dhaka court sentenced five people to death in connection with the murder of photojournalist of Daily Ittefaq Aftab Ahmed.

A Dhaka court sentenced five people to death in connection with the murder of photojournalist of Daily Ittefaq Aftab Ahmed.
The court also sentenced one man in seven years imprisonment.
Judge Abdur Rahman Sardar of tribunal-4 of the court passed the order.
In July 15, 2014, the court framed charged against six accused.
Of the accused, Aftab’s driver Humayun Kabir Mollah, Belal Hossain Kislu, Sabuj Khan, Raju Munshi and Habib Hawlader are in jail. One accused Russel has absconded.
In December 24, 2013, Aftab was strangulated to death in his own residence in the Dhaka's West Rampura area.
After the following day, police recovered his body.
