Abdul Mannan, 35, was sentenced to death by a court in Chapainawabganj, Bangladesh, for strangulating to death his two minor daughters after losing a legal battle to his neighbour.

Abdul Mannan, 35, was sentenced to death by a court in Chapainawabganj, Bangladesh, for strangulating to death his two minor daughters after losing a legal battle to his neighbour. According to the prosecution, Mannan was furious after losing a land dispute case to his neighbour. Returning home on August 22, 2002 he killed his daughters Roksana and Runa, both seven.
