a court in Nilphamari, Bangladesh, sentenced a man to death for killing his wife and two children in 2005. The condemned convict was identified as Maniruzzaman of Pabnapara village in Domar upazila district. According to the prosecution, Maniruzzaman hacked his wife Hazera Begun, 30, and daughters Zoba, 12, and Shova, 8, to death on April 27, 2005, to implicate Mizanur Rahman in a murder case as he had a longstanding conflict with Mizanur following a land dispute. Additional District and Sessions Judge Sharif Mohammad Lutfar Rahman pronounced the judgment.
