BANGLADESH: ONE TO DIE FOR KILLING CHILD

Judge AFM Mahbubul Haque of the Women and Children Repression Control Tribunal- 2 in Dhaka, Bangladesh, awarded the death sentence to Khaled Hasan for killing Saidul, 7, in April 2007. Hasan allegedly abducted the boy and demanded Taka 50,000 ransom. His body was recovered from the jungle.
