District Judge William J. "Dusty" Knight formally sentenced James Claiborne Magee Jr. to death for the April 18, 2007 murders of his wife Adrienne and his son Ashton. Magee, 32, white, was convicted by a jury on October 19 (see) and sentenced to death at that time.
