BANGLADESH. SIX MEN TO WALK GALLOWS FOR MURDER

six men were sentenced to death for murder by a Speedy Trial Tribunal in Barisal, Bangladesh. The judge handed down the death penalty to Tara, 35, on the dock while five other convicts remained fugitive since the murder. Those condemned to death in absentia were Mofiz, 25, Gias, 24, Rana, 24, Rony, 23, and Mahfuz, 28. According to the prosecution, the convicts chopped to death Sayedur Rahman Milon, 27, on February 24, 2005, due to a dispute.
