BANGLADESH. SIX ROBBERS GIVEN DEATH PENALTY IN MANIKGANJ

a local court in Manikganj, Bangladesh, sentenced six men to death on charges of killing a man during a robbery. The condemned were identified as Nizamuddin, Babul Hossain, Karim, Selim, Sohel Rana and Haru Sardar.
According to the prosecution, the gang fire on a crowd of people who had besieged and caught six of them during a robbery at Mollapara Kotnagar village, Singair, on July 26, 2003. A villager, Inam Ali, was killed as a result.
