BANGLADESH: THREE GET DEATH PENALTY FOR KILLING TRADER IN GOPALGANJ

Three persons on July 10, 2023 were awarded with death penalty for killing a trader named Lutfor Rahman in Tungipara of Gopalganj.
They have also been fined Tk 5000 each.
Gopalganj Additional District and Sessions Judge Maksudur Rahman passed the order in presence of the accused.
The convicts are Mofijur Rahman alias Mofij Hawlader, 32, in Dacope upazila of Khulna, Abdullah Shikder, 19, in Tungipara of Gopalganj, and Sajedul Islam, 23.
According to the case statement, trader Lutfor Rahman was murdered when he was returning from Charkushli village in Tungipara of Gopalganj.
