BANGLADESH: THREE SENTENCED TO DEATH IN MURDER CASE IN MAGURA

a court in Magura, Bangladesh, sentenced three people to death and 10 others to life term imprisonment in a murder case. Additional District and Sessions Judge M Nazir Ahmed found Shamim, Abdus Salam and Kamal guilty. According to the prosecution, the men attacked Iltutmish, 35, at Harishpur village, on May 26, 2000. Iltutmish died later in hospital.
