BELGIUM. RALLY IN SUPPORT OF BULGARIAN NURSES ON LIBYA'S DEATH ROW

a rally in support of the five Bulgarian nurses and one Palestinian doctor on Libya's death row was held in Brussels. It was organized on the initiative of Lawyers Without Borders, Doctors Without Borders and Together Against Death Penalty amongst others. Some 100 people gathered at noon on Schumann Square in the Belgian capital and signed an appeal for the release of the five Bulgarian nurses and Palestinian doctor. The participants called for abolishing the death penalty worldwide.
