Broward Circuit Judge Susan Lebow sentenced Gabby Tennis to death for the stomping murder of 91-year-old Albert Vessella Tennis, 21, was convicted of first-degree murder last September for the stomping death of Vessella during a home invasion robbery in June 2003. on Nov. 16 (see) a jury recommended execution for Tennis.
The defendant ex-girlfriend, Sophia Adams, 19, pleaded guilty to her role in the killing and was later sentenced to 10 years in prison.
