the same jury that convicted Andrew Michael Gosciminski of the murder of Joan Loughman voted 9 to 3 that he should be put to death. On Sept. 24, 2002, Gosciminski killed Joan Loughman, 53, and stole $40,000 worth of her jewelry. Circuit Judge Burton Conner will use the jury's recommendation in making his final sentencing decision June 9.
