CAPITAL PUNISHMENT IN TRIPLE MURDER CASE

in India, the District Session Judge Mr Anjan Kumar Das awarded capital punishment to Debabrata Maharana, alias Kalia, 27, in a triple murder case. Debabrata of Alati village of Ramchandrapur police station was accused of killing Jagadananda Mallick, Gayadhara Ojha and Sailendra Swain with a sharp weapon on 23 July, 2006. Two others, Dinakrushna Das and Banamali Khatua were also injured in the attack on that fateful day.
