CHINA. HONG KONG MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING

Li Qingyuan and an accomplice, Liu Xisong, were sentenced to death by a court in the southern town of Shenzhen, bordering Hong Kong, after being convicted of drug trafficking. The two were arrested in Fuzhou carrying with 16.8 kg of heroin in June 2003.
