in its initial trial, the Loudi Intermediate People's Court, China, sentenced Li Muwang to death for drug transportation; Wu Weiwang and Luo Baiqing to death for drug trafficking; and Tang Yongxing to death with two years reprieve for drug trafficking. It was alleged that from June 1998, Li had colluded with others to purchase 49.27 kg of narcotics in Burma and Yunnan and transport it to Changsha for sale.
