BANGLADESH. MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MURDER

a man named M. Mohsin was sentenced to death by a court in Chittagong, Bangladesh, for killing his uncle. Additional District and Sessions Judge Noor M Jahangir Sarker handed down the death sentence to Mohsin, 34, and fined him Tk 1,000.
ccording to the prosecution, the convict attacked his uncle M. Hafez with a sharp weapon as he tried to resist Mohsin from beating his wife in the Rangunia district on March 30, 2002. Hafez was taken to the local hospital where he died the next morning.
