CHINA: LEAKY TOILET LEADS TO DEATH SENTENCE

a Chinese official was sentenced to death for corruption after a leaky toilet led to the discovery of his hoard of illicit cash. Yan Dabin, former director of transport for Wushan county, near Chongqing city, was sentenced for taking $3.4 million in bribes from road-building companies. He was arrested after a Chongqing resident complained to police that water was trickling through his ceiling from Yan's empty flat in January. Officers found a leaking toilet...and 9.4 million soggy yuan.
