CHINA: MAN EXECUTED FOR RAPING 24 MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS

Wu Tianxi, 63, the former vice chairman of the Zhenping county committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, was executed in Nanyang, in China’s Henan province. He allegedly raped 24 school girls, aged from 12 to 16 years, between 2005 and 2007. Wu hired women to go to local middle schools in Zhenping county to force the girls to have sex with him. Wu was sentenced to death on December 19, 2007.
