the Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People’s Court sentenced to death Cheng Jun, a 27-year-old migrant worker from Anhui Province, for assault. On October 11, 2005, Cheng poured gasoline on the face and breasts of his girlfriend at a tea house because she wanted to end the relationship. He then light her on fire.
