CHINA. MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MURDER

Chen Bijun was sentenced to death for murder by the Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court. Chen, 28, killed her mother-in-law on February 24 with the help of her ex-boyfriend Yu Qin after the woman refused to register Chen as the owner of an apartment. Chen's father-in-law returned shortly after and was also killed by Yu and Chen. Yu died of a disease before being put to trial.
