three professional hitmen were sentenced to death after being found guilty of multiple murders by a court in southwest China's Sichuan Province. Li Qiang, Zhang Zhiqiang and Yu Yang were hired to kill three people between August 2005 and April 2006, according to the Meishan City Intermediate People's Court. Two people who hired the gang to carry out the killings, Wang Ling and Bian Wei, received suspended death sentences and life imprisonment respectively. Li and Zhang were hired in March 2006 by Ling to kill her partner Yuan Zhong, and afterwards they also killed their accomplice, Huang. Li, Zhang and another accomplice Yu Yang were also hired to kill two other people in July and December of 2005, according to the court.
