DEATH FOR CHINA MOBILE MAN

China handed Li Hua, former chairman and general manager of the Sichuan branch of China Mobile Communications Corporation, a death sentence suspended for two years for accepting 16.48 million yuan worth of bribes, Xinhua reported, citing a spokesman for the Intermediate People's Court of Panzhihua City. The report said Li, whose age was not given, had taken money from local companies in exchange for offering "interests".
