DEATH PENALTY FOR BULANDSHAHAR CHILD-RAPIST

an Indian fast track court has awarded the death penalty to a man for raping and murdering a three-year-old girl in the Bulandshahar District of Uttar Pradesh. Anuj Sharma was convicted of the offence that took place in February 2006. The court said that raping and killing a three-and-a-half year old girl was a serious crime. The victim’s family were delighted at the death sentence, however Anuj's father strongly refuted the allegations saying “it's a wrong (sic) allegation.”
