DEATH SENTENCES FOR ATTEMPTED RAPE OF 16-YEAR-OLD GIRLS IN CENTRAL CHINA

policeman Gong Cheng and car mechanic Lin Yi were sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve for the attempted rape of two 16-year-old girls in central China's Hunan Province on September 4, 2010, in a hotel in Fenghuang County, the Intermediate People's Court in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture said. The men were also ordered to pay compensation.
