Three Free Syrian Army (FSA) members were sentenced to death in Egypt for murdering a pro-President Bashar al-Assad Syrian refugee in Cairo, Youm7 reported.
The Cairo Criminal Court had sent the ruling to Egypt’s Grand Mufti, who upheld the sentence. The three Syrian defendants, also refugees, may challenge the ruling.
The defendants stabbed their victim, a 20-year-old student, in his apartment in Cairo’s Muqattam district on FSA instructions, which alleged the victim had killed six anti-Assad Syrians in their country.
