Egyptian Parliament Speaker Ahmed Fathi Surur, in a letter addressed to the president of the EP Nicole Fontaine, condemned the statements which called on the Egyptian government to respect human rights, to stop judicial procedures against homosexuals and to cancel the death penalty.
