Felizberto Toto, 35, was summarily executed by NDF soldiers because he was believed to be a member of the Angolan rebel group Unita. The Namibian Ministry of Defence said it was unable to comment on the matter. The human rights organisation, NHSR said an attempt by Toto's wife and some relatives of the deceased to find out why he was summarily executed turned nightmarish as the six men accompanying her were arrested and beaten up at an NDF base "for being Ovimbundu-speaking people".
