Five men were given the death penalty for a dacoity cum murder case. Nisar Masih, Nadeem Masih, Mehmood Masih, Nasir Masih and Mohammad Shahid broke into Mazher Hussain Qureshi's house on August 31, 1999 and took him hostage. When he resisted they shot him dead. The Special Anti Terrorist Court in Lahore gave the verdict after a 15-day hearing.
