five persons were sentenced to death by an Indian local court for abducting, raping and murdering a minor girl two-and-a-half years ago. Special Judge Sanjeev Fauzdar sent Jeetu, Pankaj, Shyam Singh, Rajesh and Bantu to gallows for abducting, raping and murdering the eight-year-old girl. The five had raped the girl on July 1, 2009 after abducting her. Later, they murdered her in Bhongaon area here, prosecution said. The court also slapped a fine of Rs 20,000.
