Four gang members were sentenced to death in Sichuan for gang-raping eight college women and murdering seven of them, AFP reported.
The gang, led by brothers Liu Tianbing and Liu Tianlong, was also convicted by a court in Nanchong city of four other murders, including those of two of the raped women's boyfriends, the Nanchong Evening News said. The offences took place in Nanchong from April 28 to May 12, 2001.
