GANG LEADER, KEY MEMBER EXECUTED IN CHINA'S CHONGQING

in Chongqing, China, gang leader Fan Qihang, 40, and key gang member Wu Chuanjiang, 33, were executed according to the city's Higher Court. Qihang was convicted of many crimes including murder, drug trafficking, and bribery. Chuanjiang was convicted of participating in a gang, murder and drug trafficking. The Chongqing Municipal Higher People's Court on May 26 rejected the appeal of Fan and Wu, who were sentenced to death by the Chongqing No.1 Intermediate People's Court on February 10.
