GAZA: TWO DEATH SENTENCES ISSUED WITHIN ONE WEEK
Two death sentences have been issued in Gaza within one week, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) reported on 4 February 2019.
Two death sentences have been issued in Gaza within one week, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) reported on 4 February 2019. On 3 February 2019, The First Instance Court in Deir al-Balah issued a death sentence by hanging A. F. (32), from al-Nussairat refugee camp after convicting him of killing Child.
A.F. was previously sentenced by hanging on the same charges on 6 July 2010, but the Cassation Court abolished the sentence and referred the case to the First Instance Court for the retrial.
In the same context, on 29 January 2019, the First Instance Court in Khan Younis issued a death sentence against Y. A. (30) from Rafah City after being convicted of killing M. Sh.
