The high court in Gaza sentenced a man to death after convicting him of murdering his wife.
Prosecutor Sami al-Najjar said the man, identified as N.B., poisoned his wife’s drink causing her death.
He added that the prosecution presented conclusive and indisputable evidence to the court and demanded the death sentence.
On September 24, the court of first instance in Gaza sentenced Faris al-Ashram to death, after he was convicted of killing former military prosecutor Mohammad al-Asharm.
The public prosecutor said that after thoroughly looking into the evidence, it was concluded that the suspect killed the man with malice and attempted to murder others.
