Ghanaian national Martin Anderson, alias Belo, was sentenced to death by the South Jakarta district court, Indonesia, for trying to sell 50 grams (1.75 pounds) of heroin in November 2003. State prosecutors had sought a 15-year jail term. But Chief Judge Rocky Panjaitan said the request "does not fulfill the sense of justice compared to damage to society due to heroin use."
