Guo Zhenbin, a headmaster in southeast China's Fujian province, was sentenced to death for raping and molesting a series of primary school children in his charge, state media reported. Guo, formerly the headmaster of a primary school in Sanming city, was sentenced at Sanming city's intermediate people's court, the People's Court Daily said.
Guo lured the children to his home under the pretext that he needed to give them a physical check-up, the paper said. From late 2002 until April 2004, when he was caught, he raped four different under-age girls for a total of eight times, the paper said. In the same period, he molested four other children, according to the report, which did not provide details.
