Hands Off Cain staged a demonstration in front of the Belgian Embassy in Rome, calling for European intervention in favour of 24 aid-workers arrested in Afghanistan on charges of proselytising in favour of Chistianity. The charges against the aid-workers, eight westerners and 16 locals, carry the death penalty. Belgium is the current holder of the rotating EU presidency.
