Harare Magistrate's Court granted three Zimbabwean opposition leaders bail and adjourned their treason trial to 11 November.
Ncube and Shadow Agriculture Minister Renson Gasela, have been accused of hiring a Canadian Company to murder Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe before the March presidential election.
They have denied the charges, which are largely based on videotapes of several meetings between them and officials of the Canadian Company, at which the alleged plot was discussed. The offence carries a death penalty.
At the remand hearing, Magistrate Joyce Negonde granted the State's application for Tsvangirai's bail bond to be doubled to three million Zimbabwean dollars and those of Ncube and Gasela raised to one million Zimbabwean dollars each. (55ZWD = 1USD).
Negonde also upheld an earlier Court order for the three men, who will now appear before a High Court on the treason charges, to report to police twice a week.
Tsvangirai, who lost to Mugabe in the March presidential poll, says the treason charges were part of a campaign of political harassment of the opposition by the government.
An MDC MP was arrested on September 29 for allegedly defying a government order to vacate his farm to pave way for the resettlement of landless peasants.
Roy Bennet, MP for Chimanimani constituency in the east of the country, was arrested near his farm in the area. The MP is among 2,900 white farmers ordered to vacate their farms in August for government's controversial land distribution programme, but the majority of the farmers have defied the eviction order. Government has arrested hundreds of the white farmers.
