Harith Gary Lee, a man convicted of pushing his girlfriend from the 10th floor of a block of flats in Choa Chu Kang, Singapore, lost his appeal against being hanged. Lee alias Lee Cheng Thiam, 40, had been convicted and sentenced to death in April 2004 for the murder of Madam Diana Teo Siew Peng, 32, outside her home on March 10, 2003. During the trial, the court heard that shortly before her death, Lee had dragged Madam Teo out of her office by her hair, punched her and then driven her to her home. Two neighbours said they saw the couple along the corridor of the 10th-floor flat that day. One said she saw the man lifting the woman's legs over the parapet, while the other said the man was standing behind the woman and holding her legs.
