Human Rights Association (ZimRights) chairman Nick Ndebele, appealed to the Commonwealth Lawyers' Association (CLA) and the Commonwealth Magistrates and Judges' Association (CMJA) in order to seek backing in his campaign against the judiciary. Ndebele said certain judges were eager to sentence persons to death following "unfair or rigged trials".
