Hundreds of students from Sanaa University demonstrated in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa, demanding the execution of Mohammad Adam Omar, 45, a Sudanese morgue worker being tried on charges of raping and killing 16 women, including at least six university students. The students marched to the office of President Ali Abdullah Saleh where they presented a list of demands to his office director. They asked that the trial be televised and "that he be executed and crucified outside the university's faculty of medicine".
