Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington, have all acknowledged the need to re-examine the capital punishment system.
