In a poll on whether former President Joseph Estrada is guilty, 171 respondents of the total 300 interviewed (57%) believed him guilty while only 58 (19.3%) felt otherwise. About a quarter of the respondents (23.7%) have no strong opinion on the matter.But as many (44.2%) would rather see him spared from the death penalty. Only 48 respondents (15.9 %) said the full extent of the law should apply. About a third of the respondents (32.9%) declined to make their opinions known.
