In Carson City, the state Board of Pardons has commuted the death sentence of 2-time killer Thomas Nevius to life in prison without the possibility of parole because he is borderline mentally retarded
In Carson City, the state Board of Pardons has commuted the death sentence of 2-time killer Thomas Nevius to life in prison without the possibility of parole because he is borderline mentally retarded.
In July 1980 Nevius and 3 other men entered the home of David and Rochelle Kinnamon in Las Vegas. Nevius began sexually assaulting her. Nevius fired 4 shots that hit David who was killed by a bullet in his head.
Rochelle Kinnamon was pregnant at the time and gave birth to a stillborn baby 2 days after the incident.
