in Gretna, State District Judge Greg Guidry formally sentenced Christopher Arceneaux to death for killing a woman in her driveway as she shielded her daughter from an armed robbery attempt. In March, a jury convicted Arceneaux, 19, of 1st-degree murder in the shooting death of Dena Mansour, 33, on Oct. 27, 2002.
