In March, Ahmad Najdawi, a well-experienced lawyer said that laws need comprehensive revision. It is the responsibility of the Government to amend the law against crimes or murderers. "But what is good in our country is that the penalty for homicide crimes is fair," Najdawi explained. Nonetheless, many murderers who commit honor crimes seem to escape the death penalty most of the time. Najdawi is against the death penalty. "Researches proved that murder crimes have not decreased in countries like Jordan which has the death penalty. I believe that it is inhuman to take the life of a person and years after, discover that he/she is innocent," Najdawi concluded.
