In McAlester, Jackie Lee Willingham, 33, was executed for a 1994 murder. He was pronounced dead at 6:09 p.m. at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary. Willingham was convicted of 1st degree murder for beating Jayne Van Wey, 62, to death. Willingham becomes the 13th condemned inmate to be put to death this year in Oklahoma and the 48th in the USA.
