In Winston-Salem, Judge William Z

In Winston-Salem, Judge William Z. Wood Jr. has sentenced Michael Eric Maske, 24, to death following the recommendation of a jury in Forsyth Superior Court. The jury had convicted Maske of 1st-degree murder in the slaying of Geneva Yarbrough, 41, who was stabbed on Jan. 30, 2001. Maske admitted killing Yarbrough during a burglary.
